Maintenance Specialist Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building Infrastructure and Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of building infrastructure, HVAC systems, air compressors, and production machinery.
  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Electrical and Civil Maintenance: Manage electrical and civil maintenance tasks, ensuring all systems and equipment are functioning optimally.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain daily/weekly maintenance reports detailing work completed and any outstanding issues.
  • Communication: Handle internal and external email communication related to maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and updates.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring timely task execution and proper task delegation.
  • Vendor and Service Provider Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repair work and annual maintenance contracts (AMC).

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, building systems, air compressors, and production machinery maintenance.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports and email communication for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Good team leadership and coordination skills for efficient task execution.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and compliance standards to ensure workplace safety and regulatory adherence.
