Job Summary:

Hostel Manager Position

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to manage our hostel operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and has excellent interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily hostel operations, maintaining a positive living environment, and addressing any concerns that may arise. You will oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the hostel premises, supervise and manage the daily activities of residents, and ensure that hostel rules and regulations are followed by all.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound judgments. If you have prior experience working as a Warden or House Parent, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hostel Management:
    • Supervise and manage daily hostel operations.
    • Maintain a positive living environment for residents.
    • Ensure hostel rules and regulations are followed by all residents.
    • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the hostel premises.
  • Safety and Welfare:
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
    • Address any medical emergencies or safety concerns promptly.
    • Maintain records of attendance and monitor resident movement.
  • Discipline and Guidance:
    • Enforce discipline and resolve conflicts among residents.
    • Provide guidance and support to residents dealing with personal or professional challenges.
    • Ensure the hostel remains a peaceful and supportive environment.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Act as primary point of contact between residents and management.
    • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding resident concerns.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth hostel operations.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of residents, including emergency contacts and medical information.
    • Report any issues related to maintenance, supplies, or safety to management.
    • Prepare reports on hostel activities, incidents, and feedback for review.
