Hotel Reservations Manager

Job Summary
The Reservations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring efficient running and achievement of departmental objectives. Key responsibilities include delegating tasks, preparing work schedules, and ensuring administrative procedures are completed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Reservations Department
- Delegate tasks and prepare work schedules for team members
- Ensure administrative procedures are completed accurately
- Work with the Reservations Manager to implement and deliver individual and departmental training plans
- Collaborate with the groups team to analyze and respond to inquiries within brand standard timeframes
- Assist in preparing contracts for the leisure segment
- Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Reservations Manager, and Revenue Manager to set daily pricing and business strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR
- Prepare departmental financial and KPI results for presentation at monthly departmental meetings and weekly commercial meetings
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in a hotel reservations team
- Problem-solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities
- Excellent knowledge of reservations, Opera Cloud, and Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of Revenue Management principles
