This role involves providing local HR services to the business, leading and driving HR initiatives to agreed global standards across business units while ensuring compliance with local legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Management: Forecasting local requirements and planning project demand.
  • Employee Relations: Collaborating with Strategic HR Business Partners to facilitate conflict resolution and manage proactive relationship improvements.
  • CASE Management: Delivering Case Management services to support the business with sickness absence, grievances, and disciplinary activities.
  • Talent Acquisition Support: Aligning recruitment strategies with business unit needs.
  • Performance Management: Assisting managers in conducting performance reviews, addressing underperformance, and implementing improvement plans.
  • Compliance and Policies: Ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures, including compliance with local labor laws and organizational regulations.
  • Drive improvements to HR policies in line with business requirements and changes in local markets.
  • Onboarding and Integration: Facilitating an effective onboarding process for new employees.
  • Data and Analytics: Leveraging HR analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, engagement, and productivity.
  • Employee Engagement: Driving initiatives to measure and enhance employee engagement, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
  • Business Restructures: Managing employee-related activities aligned to a business restructure.
  • TUPE: Managing TUPE in/out employee-related activities supporting business acquisitions, new business, and transition out of customer contracts.
  • Annual Pay Reviews: Collaborating with the Reward CoE to facilitate the approach to Annual Pay Reviews.
  • Workforce Planning: Supporting the Strategic HR Business Partners in the activities that underpin a successful workforce planning strategy.
  • Location and Working Practice Strategy: Determining the right location and office attendance strategy.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I): Implementing DEI strategies and fostering inclusive workplace environments.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensuring adherence to risk and compliance management protocols across all HR initiatives.
  • Wellbeing: Creating and delivering wellbeing priorities across the local business.
  • Employee and Manager Support: Leading the People Operations service to provide support to employees and managers on operational and escalated issues.
  • Team Management and Service Delivery: Developing the HR Team to deliver excellent services to the local business.
  • Communication: Reviewing and approving local communication charter and ensuring communication channels are monitored.
  • Occupational Health & Safety (OHS): Collaborating with OHS SPOC to monitor various natural/geopolitical situations.
  • Merger & Acquisition: Supporting from a country perspective on M&A activities.
