Job Title: Diesel Genset Sales Leadership Role

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to lead our diesel genset sales team in promoting and selling Gas genset / diesel generator sets to clients and customers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, establishing strong customer relationships, and expanding the market presence of our products within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to align sales efforts with the overall business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, including setting targets, providing coaching and training, and conducting performance evaluations. Foster a motivated and results-oriented sales team.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging market trends. Utilize this information to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand our customer base and market share.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our diesel genset products.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets. Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed to ensure objectives are met.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals: Lead negotiations with clients, dealers, and partners to reach favorable agreements. Ensure timely and successful closure of sales deals.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our diesel genset products, features, and technical specifications. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics for management review. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of sales data.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in sales within the diesel genset industry or a closely related field.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of diesel generator sets and power generation systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and customer preferences.
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytic tools.
  • Results-Driven: Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving industry landscape.

Salary: ₹ 15,00,000 - ₹ 20,00,000 per annum
