Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to produce high-quality 2D drawings and accurate bill of quantities (BOQs) for interior design projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating contractor-ready drawings, including floor plans, interior elevations, basic electrical layouts, and simple flooring and wall tiling layouts. They will also be responsible for preparing BOQs from the drawings, including material-wise areas, skirting lengths, trims/edges, paint/finish areas, electrical point counts, and fixture counts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create 2D drawings with clean layers, consistent line weights, correct scales, and title blocks.
  • Prepare BOQs with item codes, descriptions, unit of measurement, room-wise quantities, totals, notes, assumptions, and summary tabs.
  • Ensure cross-sheet consistency and manage up to two revision rounds.
  • Deliver DWG and print-ready PDF files, drawing indexes with revision history, and BOQs in Excel format.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in interior documentation with proven quantity take-offs.
  • Strong drafting fundamentals, clear annotation, and contractor-readable sheets.
  • BOQ skills: disciplined take-offs, room-wise structuring, transparent assumptions.
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, organized, and version control in remote workflows.
  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent experience.
