Job Title: CAD Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and be proficient in maintaining polylines for each floor of each building.


About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who can provide accurate space allocation support by utilizing CAD. The successful candidate will work closely with Occupancy Planners to ensure that all CAD files are up-to-date and accurate.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain floor plans for each building using CAD to capture minor post-move space reconfigurations.
  • Complete polylining for area measurements based on the BOMA Standard Method for Measuring Floor Area in Office Buildings.
  • Assign attributes and complete and maintain them.
  • Perform space audits to ensure accuracy of reconfiguration to the design and update the CAD files accordingly.
  • Provide support as necessary to Occupancy Planners for block planning and presentation drawings utilizing CAD.
  • Maintain corporate CAD drawing policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors the delivery and receipt of necessary CAD files.

Deliverables:
  • Monthly recap of changes to Space Allocation Administrator and Occupancy Planners.
  • Floor plans (in CAD form) required to support space allocations.

Interaction:
  • Ensure accurate reporting of information and foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations.
  • Communicate with Site Contacts to ensure that correct space data is in the database.
  • Interact with Site-specific and/or Occupancy Planners to understand planned changes in space.
  • Validate and update changes upon completion of a project move.
  • Produce presentation drawings as needed.
  • Facilitate transmission of CAD files to and from vendor and ensure accuracy of incoming drawings and adherence to the corporate CAD drawing policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of CAD principles and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
