Exterior Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Exterior Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality exterior components for vehicles.

\

As an Exterior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the design, development, and production of exterior components such as bumpers, grills, and other trim parts.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Design and develop new exterior components that meet quality and performance standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including CAD drawings and specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure products remain competitive.

Requirements:

\
  • 4+ years of experience in automotive product engineering, specifically in exterior trims, bumpers, and grills.
  • Proven project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality targets.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD tools, particularly CATIA V5/V6.
  • Experience with supplier management, including APQP documents and cost reviews.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.
  • Experience with carbon fiber and OEM commodity leadership.
