
Business Development Manager

A key role in our organization seeks a talented professional to support senior account leadership in growing learning service sales to clients. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of an Engagement Director, managing client accounts, interacting with stakeholders, finding opportunities, and reporting results.
- Support key client accounts across regions, developing strong relationships with stakeholders and key figures within the organization.
- Engage with clients to identify unmet needs or potential service gaps, creating tailored presentations to support upsell or renewal opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate documents for RFI and RFP responses, preparing and presenting QBRs and other governance activities.
- Track win/loss data and sales KPIs, conducting research on client organization changes that could signal opportunities.
- Collaborate with service line leaders on internal solutions, responding to routine client queries and escalating issues where needed.
- Contribute to business reviews, presentations, and reports, utilizing strong analytical and communication skills.
- Presentation and pitching skills to create a strong impression, with clear and professional communication.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with analytical mindset and comfort working with data and reporting tools.
- Commercial decision making on mutually beneficial outcomes, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Team-oriented with a service delivery mindset, detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing client needs.
- Familiarity with managed learning services and learning platforms is an advantage, with basic understanding of learning & development concepts and corporate training models.
- Understanding of account management processes in a services environment, awareness of client service and stakeholder communication best practices.
- 4–8 years in account coordination, client services, project management, or operations roles, with demonstrated ability to support client relationships and manage operational details.
- Experience working in or with professional services, learning, or talent development sectors.
