Key Objectives

The HR Risk Lead plays a pivotal role in spearheading risk management initiatives within the HR function. This involves designing and implementing strategies, ensuring all activities are delivered against key performance indicators, and fostering effective communication with stakeholders.

The HR Risk Lead represents HR within centralized risk management forums and projects, providing critical insights into central programs to ensure proportionate and targeted work driven into HR. They interpret central requests, facilitate delivery of required work within HR, and lead through external reviews and audits.

  • Develop and implement internal governance processes including consistent controls and monitoring frameworks for the HR function
  • Manage documentation and execution of local HR controls to demonstrate and ensure adherence to local employment laws and quality delivery of services in HR
  • Lead audit activities, including establishing a framework to facilitate both internal and external audits, supports the team in producing artifacts meeting agreed upon timelines, clear accountability and delivery across team members
  • Lead HR risk activities and serve as Risk point-person
  • Help track and resolve HR issues and events within agreed upon timeframes
  • Develop a reporting framework and cadence to regularly inform team and leaders on risks and issues

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, risk or audit management, and hold certifications such as PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma. A Master's/Bachelor's degree is also required, along with 8+ years of experience in leading cross-functional projects and programs in HR Risk or similar fields.
