Accounts Receivable Manager

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts from customers or clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and develop effective strategies for debt collection.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for collecting outstanding debts
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including customer interactions and payment arrangements
  • Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and determine the appropriate actions to take
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers or clients
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing and payment-related inquiries
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly as they relate to accounts receivable and collections
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
