We are a home decor start-up, pushing the boundaries of innovation in the D2C space. As a Retail Research Intern, you will play a key role in shaping our retail strategy and operations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct research on potential markets and locations for new retail outlets, analyzing demographic, economic, and footfall data to identify high-potential areas.
  • Competitive Analysis: Research and benchmark competitors in the retail space, observing competitor store layouts, product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer experience.
  • Trend Observation: Visit retail outlets to observe industry trends and innovations in store design, merchandising, and customer engagement.
  • Benchmarking: Compare existing retail standards to identify best practices in the industry.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and summaries of research findings, presenting them to the leadership team with clear recommendations.

About The Company:

Kyari is a budding home decor start-up, yet a leading one in the D2C space. We launched our game-changing self-watering planters two years ago, and they have made plant parenting a breeze for customers.

Our Goal:

We promise quick delivery of live plants, stunning design, premium quality, and easy plant care. Our goal is to shake up the home decor industry by offering innovative solutions.

Location and Duration:

The internship will be located in Indore and will last for 3 months. Candidates can be absorbed for the full-time role if their performance is satisfactory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Market Research Tools: Knowledge of market research tools and techniques is a plus.
  • Self-Starter: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Estimated Salary:

Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 30,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
