Comaea Consulting is a premier Executive Search and Talent Advisory firm. Our client, a leading multinational corporation in the maritime industry, seeks an experienced Strategic Talent Acquisition Professional to lead the recruitment function in India.

This pivotal role involves managing end-to-end recruitment, overseeing talent acquisition strategies, and building strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership and management teams both locally and globally. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a robust recruitment strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and employee experience initiatives in India.

The role requires overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle, managing recruitment analytics, and ensuring the sourcing, hiring, and onboarding of top talent. Additionally, the successful candidate will drive initiatives that enhance the employer brand, support diversity and company goals, and continuously improve recruitment processes.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and employee experience initiatives in India.
  • Managing the recruitment process for approximately 150+ positions annually, including senior roles, and partnering with business leaders to assess staffing needs and provide strategic hiring solutions.
  • Promoting and supporting the company's diversity agenda and ESG initiatives through targeted TA activities.
  • Oversseeing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and enhancing candidate experience by streamlining sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Tracking and reporting recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of the talent acquisition function and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Preparing recruitment analysis and delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a Master's degree in HRM preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in the Talent Acquisition function, with a focus on both bulk and senior-level hiring.
  • Prior experience in the maritime or shipping industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes and oversee a small team.
  • Strong program management experience and expertise in recruitment analytics.
  • Experience managing relationships with stakeholders both internal (senior management and leadership team) and external (vendors and partners).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various HR functions, with a focus on talent acquisition.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
