
Strategic Technology Leader

This is a senior level project management position responsible for leading technology initiatives from planning to successful delivery. The role demands strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the full lifecycle of IT projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and milestones to guide execution and measure progress.
- Collaborate with functional heads, web stack, POS, QA, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and define project scopes.
- Utilize appropriate project management methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Track and manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines using project tracking tools; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and issues early, develop mitigation plans, and take proactive measures to keep initiatives on track.
- Ensure consistent and clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Oversee quality assurance processes in collaboration with QA teams and ensure robust User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Build and nurture a high-performing team culture by mentoring team members, setting clear expectations, and fostering continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of hands-on experience in IT project management with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects. PMP certification is required.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity principles, and data governance practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to cope in a complex and fast-changing environment.
- Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically.
