Job Description

  • Lead the development of cost-out projects for Low Voltage Switchgear products, focusing on innovative solutions for Contactor/ Switch Disconnector/ Motor Protection Circuit Breaker/ Push buttons.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to execute project objectives through idea generation, design, testing and implementation phases.
  • Evaluate product compliance to international standards such as IEC, UL, CSA, NEMA or other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct system/component sizing, designing, simulation and testing activities to meet Low Voltage Switchgear requirements.
  • Utilize change management processes to modify existing products, ensuring alignment with customer, manufacturing, regulatory and market needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • BE/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering with 6-9 years of experience in Product Design.
  • Strong background in switchgear industry, including NTI/NPI/Sustaining projects for Contactor, Switch Disconnector, Motor Protection Circuit Breaker or similar products.
  • Experience in VAVE projects will be advantageous.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a global and virtual environment.
