Billing Executive/Cashier Role

Our organization is seeking a meticulous Billing Executive/Cashier to take up this key position. The role involves utilizing ERP software to identify outstanding accounts and generate bills and invoices specific to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying outstanding accounts using ERP software and generating bills and invoices specific to customers.
  • Generating Sales Orders after understanding customer requirements and delivering invoices via digital and traditional services.
  • Reconciling all payments with invoices, receiving and sorting incoming payments, including cash, DC/CC, online payments, and UPI.
  • Managing Petty Cash and identifying inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in ERP.
  • Updating receivables for customers and addressing their queries and problems.
  • Submitting all collected cash to the concerned authority at the end of the day and reconciling all payments received.
  • Preparing and submitting Daily Sales Reports to the Accounts team and generating monthly and quarterly reports for the Reporting Authority.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com).
  • An understanding of accounting software/ERP such as Oracle/SAP.
  • Strong computational skills and an extreme attention to detail.
  • The ability to work productively without oversight and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A robust written and communication skill set, basic understanding of office software and machinery, and key skills and competencies.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Billing Executive at a large format store.
  • An understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
  • A passion for numbers and financial data and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, a team player, good time-management skills, great interpersonal and communication skills, and integrity.
