The Head of Transaction Advisory will lead the department responsible for M&A deal execution, post-deal integration, carve-outs, and restructuring. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, tax structuring, and compliance frameworks. They must also possess excellent leadership, people management, and client relationship skills. Key qualifications include 12+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or transaction advisory, along with a Chartered Accountant, CFA, or MBA (Finance) degree.
This senior leadership position involves driving standard operating procedures for post-deal advisory, ensuring consistency and quality. The expert will collaborate with other service lines for integrated client solutions, develop service offerings in post-deal advisory and integration, and contribute to proposals and client pitches.
Key attributes include hands-on experience with scenario analysis, synergy modelling, and performance tracking. A proven ability to lead negotiations, manage stakeholders, and oversee integration of acquired businesses is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in deal structuring, regulatory compliance, and operational integration. Excellent stakeholder and client advisory skills are required, including the ability to act as a trusted advisor to boards, promoters, CFOs, and private equity investors on post-transaction strategy.
