Job Title: Director of Placement

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Director of Placement to oversee and manage multiple Stores Departments in various locations within the University and Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have a strong industry connection with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR Consultants. They should be well-connected with Industry Associations, Forums, and Industry Captain. They must also be well-versed with online communities and social media platforms.

The successful candidate will lead all engagement activities from the pre-placement stage, through the placement procedure, and the placement stage by monitoring, controlling, and reporting progress. Some of their specific responsibilities include:

Placement Support

  • Establishing strong connections with industries in Delhi - NCR region.
  • Developing and maintaining a network of contacts in the industry.
  • Utilizing job portals and technology platforms for networking.
  • Interacting with industries on a regular basis concerning career opportunities and employment trends.
  • Connecting with other resources and institutions (government affiliated bodies).
  • Identifying internship opportunities for students when required.
  • Handling complete placement data management and maintaining internship and placement data.
  • Preparing detailed reports from placement data for periodical reviews.
  • Ability to manage flexible & extended time requirements as and when needed.
  • Identify and organize interaction programs on career opportunities in the university and external agencies.
  • Tracking application forms, pre-screening candidates, shortlisting and scheduling interviews.
  • Monitoring individual candidates' progress.
  • Providing counselling on procedures to the applicants.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of applicants' information in electronic and digital format.

Training Support

  • Organizing Skill Lab Orientation programs.
  • Enrolling students in the Career Service Tech platform by coordinating with different academic institutions.
  • Conducting various training programs at different academic institutions.
  • Working closely with subject experts, learning engagement coaches to revise and update the curriculums.
  • Proactively strengthening your knowledge and providing feedback on methodologies in the training process.
  • Overseeing and managing the Digitally Enabled Platform for which training shall be provided.
