Job Description

As a senior e-commerce developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our clients' direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce websites on Shopify.

Key responsibilities include customising and optimising Shopify storefronts using Liquid, JavaScript/ES6, JSON, SCSS, and Shopify CLI. Additionally, you will be responsible for selecting and configuring Shopify apps and WordPress plugins to meet each client's unique D2C requirements.

You will also work on pixel-perfect WordPress sites, improve site performance and conversion rates, and ensure smooth integrations with CRM, marketing automation, shipping/ERP APIs, payment gateways, BNPL, and loyalty programs. Furthermore, you will handle ongoing care, including post-launch maintenance, security patches, and rapid troubleshooting.

Required Skills
  • 2–5 years developing production Shopify storefronts (Dawn-based themes, Liquid sections/blocks).
  • Proven experience shipping or scaling D2C e-commerce sites.
  • WordPress theme & plugin customisation (PHP basics, ACF, Woo experience a plus).
  • Front-end fundamentals: semantic HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox/Grid), responsive vanilla JS.
  • Git version control and basic CLI workflows.
  • Clear written & spoken English; able to explain trade-offs to non-tech teammates.
