Comprehensive Ecommerce Solutions Specialist

Job Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Comprehensive Ecommerce Solutions Specialist with expertise in Hybris development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing standards for Development, source code control, documentation, digital testing practices, and release management.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Hybris development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate within a software development team using source code management software such as Git.

  • Implementing standards for Development, source code control, documentation, Digital testing practices, and release management.
  • Contributing to IT Department policies and procedures for SAP Hybris e-Commerce platform.
  • Collaborating within a software development team using source code management software such as Git.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code that meets quality expectations and is supported by well-documented architectural designs.
  • Delivering quality code validated with code quality tools like SonarCloud.
  • Providing Level 1, 2, and 3 Support for SAP Hybris e-Commerce platform solutions, working alongside external vendors and support services.
  • Collaborating with internal IT teams and external vendors to investigate and address the root cause of defects, incidents, and outages.
Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality code meeting company standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Ensuring all code changes are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices are maintained.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of Hybris development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Java development and proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with search engines like Solr and Coveo, as well as cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience with eCommerce systems such as Shopify, Commercetools, and BigCommerce.
  • Familiarity with product information management or ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with Retail Applications and knowledge of Kibana and Dynatrace.
