B2B eCommerce Solutions Architect

As a B2B eCommerce solutions architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures aligned with business goals. Your expertise in Optimizely Configured Commerce (InsiteCommerce) will enable you to deliver advanced B2B commerce features, including contract-based pricing, customer-specific catalogs, quotation and order approval workflows, real-time inventory and product availability, role-based account and user management, and system integrations involving ERP, CRM, PIM, and third-party services.

Your technical background in C#, .NET Framework, and SQL Server will allow you to drive code reviews, define best practices, and mentor development teams to ensure adherence to architectural and coding standards. Additionally, your ability to stay updated with the Optimizely product roadmap and upcoming features will enable you to ensure early adoption and platform optimization.

In this role, you will work closely with product managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, and development teams to gather business and technical requirements. You will also contribute to technical strategy, project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and end-to-end implementation of B2B eCommerce platforms using Optimizely Configured Commerce (InsiteCommerce).
  • Define scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, and development teams to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Design and deliver advanced B2B commerce features, including contract-based pricing, customer-specific catalogs, quotation and order approval workflows, real-time inventory and product availability, role-based account and user management, and system integrations involving ERP, CRM, PIM, and third-party services.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce solution architecture, implementation, and delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Optimizely Configured Commerce (InsiteCommerce).
  • Strong technical background in C#, .NET Framework, and SQL Server.
  • Deep understanding of B2B commerce concepts, including customer-specific pricing, catalog personalization, workflow automation, and user roles.
  • Proven experience with system integrations involving ERP, CRM, PIM, and third-party services.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and delivering high-quality solutions under tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
  • Optimizely certifications or training in Configured Commerce.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) integrated into eCommerce platforms.
  • Exposure to headless commerce, microservices architecture, or MACH principles.
  • Experience working with B2B clients across manufacturing, distribution, or wholesale industries.
Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
