Job Title: Technical Leadership and Innovation Manager

This position requires an experienced professional in industrial automation and controls engineering to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain electrical and control system standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical control system issues across various manufacturing platforms.
  • Implement industrial networking solutions and integrate various control systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers in electrical and control system design, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Review and validate electrical and control system designs and programs developed by junior engineers.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert-level knowledge in PLC, HMI, and SCADA system design, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networks and communication protocols.
  • Proven experience with motion control systems and servo applications.
  • Selection of motors, motor controllers or drives, calculation of motor horsepower, torque, speed range, reduction ratios etc.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and IIoT Technologies.
  • Experience with Digital Twin and Simulation Tools.
  • Professional certifications in automation/controls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Instrumentation and Controls Engineering (ICE) with 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
  • Project management capabilities.
