As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead and coach a high-performing team of engineers focused on building innovative features and capabilities for our Workspace ONE UEM platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of engineers through ownership, collaboration, and respectful dialogue
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions
- Providing technical leadership in designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade software
- Championing engineering excellence through continuous improvement in architecture, processes, and team practices
- Solving complex technical challenges using data-driven decision-making
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
You'll divide your time across three key areas:
- Hands-on coding and debugging (C#.Net/Microservices) - 30%
- Architecting and designing enterprise software and cloud services (HLD & LLD) - 30%
- Project and people management - 40%
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Deep hands-on experience in software development (C#.Net, SQL Server/Microsoft technologies)
- Strong architectural and design skills for scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions
- Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring
- Experience leading teams through the full software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
Preferred qualifications include experience with .Net core, .net standard, asp.net, Kafka, micro-services, and other cloud design patterns, as well as a strong customer-centric mindset focused on delivering high-quality solutions.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience in software development and management
- Expert-level understanding of C#.Net and Microservices
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based architecture and design patterns
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
