Regional Order Service Specialist

This role involves servicing orders for regional sales teams within a defined customer service framework. Your primary responsibilities include validating demand over the horizon, assigning prioritization to demand/orders/customers, and ensuring that plans are achieved by validating demand with POs available, LCs required, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, manufacturing license checks, minimum shelf-life requirements, and pre-shipment document submissions to customers & timelines.
You will also be responsible for analysing order status in our systems, gathering information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules, highlighting any potential issues which might affect defined timelines, taking end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for regions, driving all documentation related to shipments with CFT teams, and driving shipment planning with logistics teams to mitigate risks/delays proactively.
Additionally, you will attend all relevant meetings to gather data and information on open orders for regions and their status updates, identify issues (e.g., artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity) which need to be resolved/approved/exempt by sales teams, arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottlenecks related to priority orders to ensure OTIF is met, gather feedback from timely resolution of issues with concerned stakeholders, identify outstanding/open orders for defined priority customers, analyse issues which need immediate escalations to cross-functional teams for timely resolutions, prioritize orders/customers basis defined parameters, identify key stakeholders who need to be engaged to resolve outstanding issues, and provide the Head of Emerging Market SCM with detailed analysis on all outstanding orders to be discussed in meetings.
Supply Chain ExpertiseA strong understanding of supply chain essentials, preferably in pharma, is required for this position. You will be expected to identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in order management processes, improving supply chain visibility, drive the implementation and rollout cycle for all IT and technology automations within SCM jointly with IT, and propose innovative solutions to improve process efficiency.
