We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Closures Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions for automotive closures, including front doors, rear doors, tailgates, engine hoods, and fender systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design concepts into production.
  • Utilize CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter to create detailed designs and manage data effectively.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of engineering and system documents, including DFMEA, DVP, DFA, etc., to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing processes, and assembly procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to communicate design concepts and master sections effectively.
  • Apply tolerance stack-up and GD&T principles to ensure high-quality designs.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with suppliers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
