Wintel Manager Position Overview

As a key member of our global Wintel operations team, you will play a pivotal role in managing our Windows and Linux infrastructure, virtualization, file servers, and related ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience and be proficient in Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, VMware VCP, Hyperconverged, ITIL Foundation, Scripting language VB, Bash or PowerShell.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the management of global Wintel operations (Windows & Linux, Virtualization, File Servers, and related Ecosystem) in partnership with service providers.
  • Overseeing 24x7 BAU activities, incident response, and escalations with hands-on technical depth.
  • Implementing patch compliance, performance optimization, and infrastructure hardening.
  • Reviewing, standardizing, and driving continuous improvement of operational tasks and GSOPs.
  • Designing, managing, and performing DR for applications inline with Backup, Storage, and Application teams.

You will also be responsible for leading technical execution of infrastructure projects, including OS upgrades, migrations, and platform transitions. Additionally, you will architect and implement infrastructure solutions for new business requirements and drive initiatives for virtualization, automation, capacity planning, and legacy system upgrades.

Requirements:
  • 10-12 years of experience in Wintel operations management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, VMware VCP, Hyperconverged, ITIL Foundation, Scripting language VB, Bash, or PowerShell.
