Job Opportunity

The Senior Executive – Finance role requires a seasoned professional to oversee financial operations, reconcile accounts, and analyze data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough reconciliations of customer and vendor ledgers, as well as inter-company transactions.
  2. Review and verify supplier invoices in accordance with contractual agreements, ensuring accurate recording in our financial systems.
  3. Prepare comprehensive MIS reports, revenue statements, and reconcile income and expenditure reports to provide valuable insights.
  4. Oversight of monthly billing for cargo handling and counter sales, ensuring daily/monthly reconciliation and adherence to quality standards.
  5. Monitor receivables, follow up with debtors, and prepare ageing reports to maintain cash flow efficiency.
  6. Maintain and update financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  7. Process invoices and accurately record receipts to ensure timely payment.
  8. Generate MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India GH & CH using BOS financial data to inform strategic decisions.
  9. Ensure proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions to meet regulatory requirements.
  10. Conduct general ledger reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  11. Assist auditors during financial audits and statement preparation to ensure compliance.
  12. Deliver invoices to airline clients and submit acknowledgments to the team to maintain excellent client relationships.
  13. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager or department head to demonstrate adaptability and commitment.
  14. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and security standards in all financial operations to protect company reputation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)/ Chartered Accountant Inter with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial systems to efficiently manage tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles; experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Exposure to the aviation industry is an advantage.
