The role of a Government Sales Lead is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives across public sector organizations. This position involves leading strategic sales and relationship management within the government sector, focusing on cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong connections with key decision-makers in central and state government departments, PSUs, and other public sector bodies.
- Promote revenue growth through strategic sales of cloud, AI, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Identify and cultivate new opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Present tailored solutions using cloud, AI, and cybersecurity technologies to understand customer pain points.
- Lead or support government RFPs, RFIs, and tenders, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the government sector.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, AI, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
