Lead Solar EPC Project Manager

A key role in our solar energy projects requires a Senior Manager with expertise in Design and Engineering. The position involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design review to project execution.

  1. Design Review & Validation
  • Conduct thorough reviews of consultant submissions, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate designs for constructability, safety, and long-term performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Verify PVsyst reports and energy yield assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  1. Approval & Coordination
  • Provide timely technical approvals of consultant deliverables, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and statutory bodies for design clarifications and approvals, streamlining project progress.
  1. Project Execution Support
  • Guide the project team through design-related queries, ensuring clarity and understanding among stakeholders.
  1. Optimization & Risk Mitigation
  • Identify potential design gaps, risks, and areas for improvement, recommending solutions to enhance project outcomes.
  1. Leadership & Teamwork
  • Lead internal engineering review meetings, fostering collaboration and open communication among team members.

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Power/Renewable Energy (M.Tech preferred), with a strong background in solar PV engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in solar EPC projects, with a proven track record of success.
  • Extensive knowledge of PV system design, grid connectivity, substation interface, and protection systems.

Key Skills:

  • Strong design review and quality-checking ability, with attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of solar PV engineering standards, including IEC and UL guidelines.
