In managing distributed solar assets across geographies, operational consistency is not just a metric—it is a responsibility. We are now seeking a Project Manager – Solar O&M to lead remote contractor coordination, safeguard performance, and uphold uptime commitments with precision and speed.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee remote operations and maintenance of contractor-managed rooftop solar assets across Thane, Aurangabad, and Kurukshetra. Acting as the central liaison between internal teams, contractors, and leadership, you will ensure that SLAs are met, compliance protocols are observed, and system uptime remains uncompromised.

This role is best suited for an engineering professional with 5–7 years of solar O&M experience, strong technical acumen, and a proven ability to manage multi-location projects remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Remote Coordination & SLA Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for O&M contractors across all project sites.
• Drive preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in line with contract terms.
• Monitor and escalate ticket resolution delays to ensure SLA compliance.

Performance & Compliance Oversight

• Review monthly/annual system performance data, flagging deviations and losses.
• Track uptime across sites and lead performance improvement measures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and documentation compliance.
• Conduct periodic remote audits and verifications.

Technical Support & Escalation

• Provide first-level troubleshooting support for inverter, wiring, and monitoring issues.
• Interpret monitoring data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Liaise with internal engineering teams and OEMs for escalated technical interventions.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain structured internal logs of contractor performance and system health.
• Consolidate site-level reports into executive dashboards for leadership.
• Track warranties, spares, insurance claims, and asset inventory for O&M continuity.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Build structured communication cadences with contractor supervisors and site teams.
• Provide senior management with timely updates on system performance, compliance status, and escalations.
• Assist in training site personnel to enhance on-ground operational discipline.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in solar O&M or distributed renewable project management.
• Strong knowledge of rooftop solar systems including inverters, monitoring platforms, wiring, and metering.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-location projects remotely with operational rigor.
• Proficient in digital monitoring systems, SCADA platforms, and data analysis.
• Skilled communicator, detail-oriented, and adept at balancing technical and compliance demands.
• Familiarity with HSE standards, net metering protocols, and regulatory frameworks in India.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• This role is based onsite at Lower Parel, with regular site visits required.

• Total Annual Compensation: 12,00,000
• Fixed Salary: 10,00,000
• Annual Retention Bonus: 2,00,000
