Leadership Role in Solar Project Execution

The ideal candidate for this leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of solar water pump installations across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner Management: The successful candidate will establish and maintain a reliable network of field installation partners, ensuring clear agreements, performance monitoring, and training.
  • Project Flow & Execution: This leader will ensure seamless workflows – surveys, procurement, dispatch, installation, inspections, RMS integration, and claims submission – all within strict timelines.
  • Compliance & Documentation: The selected candidate will oversee order issuing authority (OIA) portal uploads, inspections, and penalty waiver processes while ensuring 100% documentation compliance.
  • Quality & Training: The successful candidate will drive training programs for partners and internal teams on installation quality, RMS integration, and farmer education (O&M, insurance, claims).
  • Team Leadership: This leader will lead a state-spanning project team with structured daily/weekly/monthly reviews, adherence to SOPs, and strong accountability frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: The selected candidate will liaise with government officials, farmers, installation partners, internal customers (Accounts, SCM, Procurement, Back Office etc.) to resolve delays, escalate issues, and ensure approvals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifying bottlenecks, refining SOPs, and implementing corrective/preventive measures to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Solar Project Execution (RMS + EPC)
  • OIA / MEDA / MSEDCL / HAREDA compliance
  • Vendor & Partner Management
  • Portal & Documentation Management
  • Field Operations Planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Power) + MBA (Operations preferred)
  • 15+ years in large-scale project management, with 5+ years in multi-state EPC/renewable installations under government schemes.
  • Preferred sectors: Renewable Energy, Solar EPC, Infrastructure Projects, Government-Scheme Execution
