The Key Account Manager role entails developing and executing a business plan for select Named Accounts, positioning SI solutions from the portfolio of focus IT products and services.
This client-facing position is responsible for uncovering Large Value Enterprise Opportunities in assigned accounts, driving large value solution sales that the company focuses in the Enterprise customer space.
The Key Account Manager interfaces with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and consolidate business reach and service in each account. The primary goal is delivering against key strategic and functional goals across Softcell's portfolio of IT solutions.
- Pursue ownership of managing large enterprise accounts and executing the business plan to achieve revenue goals.
- Understand the IT investment landscape of customers and position the benefits of focused solutions by mapping right solutions with customer requirements.
- Make techno-commercial decisions on customer deals, ensuring cross-functional co-ordination from pre-sales to business realisation.
- Prospect, develop, up-sell, cross-sell and generate new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Respond timely and effectively to ongoing RFPs to meet quarterly targets.
- Map CXOs and key decision-makers in assigned accounts, using customer insights to develop aligned solutions.
- Engage with OEMs to review opportunities and seek their support to push for opportunity closure.
To succeed in this role, candidates should have experience in SI Business in Cybersecurity or IT Infra, preferably with at least 8-12 years of experience.
Managing relationships with customers in Banking / Financial Services is an added advantage. Experience in managing regulations in Banking / NBFC / Insurance domains is also beneficial.
- High energy and inter-personal skills are essential, along with a strong desire to win.
- Candidates should have experience leading teams or business units in delivering to overall goals.
- An interest in learning and understanding technology is necessary, including self-learning and staying updated on the IT technology landscape.
