Job Description

Murex system support specialist required for a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementation, configuration and development of Murex systems in various aspects including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS and MDCS.
  • Coordination with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document and verify requirements.
  • Analysis and recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
  • Support for IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Development and testing of database and infrastructure changes.
  • Technical reviews of production changes.
  • Documentation of issues and resolution within confluence.
  • Enhancement of the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches.
  • Analysis and diagnosis of business critical issues with business users across the bank.
  • Resolution of issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting.
  • Information provision about issues to vendors and coordination of testing fixes/solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capability.
  • Solid understanding of DataMart.
