Lead Financial Crime Risk Specialist

The role of Lead Financial Crime Risk Specialist is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial crime risk tools and platforms to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement technical roadmaps to ensure alignment with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and present results to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate degree in Management/Statistics/Mathematics or Graduate degree in Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices.
  • Certification from ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent is preferred.

Technical Competencies:

  • Data Science
  • Compliance Advisory
  • Risk Management
  • Surveillance (Specifically Monitoring)
  • Statistical Modelling/Machine Learning/Data Analysis
  • SQL/HQL/Hive/Hadoop scripting and databases such as Oracle and HaaS
  • R/Python/SAS/STATA/C++/SCALA Programming
  • Strong coding skills in Python, R, SQL and familiarity with data engineering practices for model integration.

Additional Requirements:

  • High level of expertise in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau and experience in integrating TM systems with core banking platforms and data warehouses with familiarity of cloud platforms for scalable TM solutions.
