Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and oversee the governance of AI tools, ensuring their secure and responsible use across the organization.

This role requires a strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements, as well as experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.

  • Configure and manage data privacy controls to prevent the training of AI models on sensitive data and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Deliver comprehensive audit logs, compliance reporting, and monitoring for OpenAI usage to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools, including fine-tuned safety layers, to enhance the security and reliability of AI applications.
  • Track and analyze model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Omit unnecessary API calls, reduce latency, and troubleshoot integration failures to ensure seamless operation of AI tools.
  • Maintain a detailed internal admin guide with setup/configuration steps, governance rules, and best practices for AI tool management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Deliver training sessions for IT staff to expand their expertise in managing OpenAI tools and ensure comprehensive admin coverage.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to expand the safe and responsible use of AI tools across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience delivering training and creating documentation.
