About the Role

As a seasoned Chief AI Engineering Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our data and artificial intelligence streams. The ideal candidate is not only a technical expert but also a strategic thinker who can act as an independent consultant, guiding projects from concept to production.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and real-world AI systems. Your expertise should encompass building foundational data pipelines, data lakes, and real-time data streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of highly scalable and reliable data platforms and AI systems
  • Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from experimentation and feature engineering to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance in a production environment (MLOps)
  • Mentor junior engineers, set best practices, and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient code
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data engineering to introduce new technologies and methodologies

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML and data engineering with a strong focus on scalability and reliability
  • Proven experience designing and implementing AI systems in a production environment, including MLOps principles and tools
  • Proficiency with modern data platforms and tools, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Flink, Airflow, and Kafka
  • Strong command of major ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI technologies is highly desirable
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one key programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java
