Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Hyatt Corporation. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Cuisine in managing the kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through effective management of kitchen staff and resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel.
  • Preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
