Job Description:

Our team is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the transition of IT systems in various industries. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex IT transformation programs and have a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

The Transition Director will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of complex IT transformation programs, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budget, and quality standards. They will build and lead a high-performing team of project managers, technical experts, and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members.

The Transition Director will collaborate with all stakeholders, including project teams, end-users, business owners, and senior management to align delivery with program objectives. They will identify and engage relevant stakeholders, facilitate communication, and manage expectations to ensure a smooth delivery process.

The Transition Director will provide regular updates to project stakeholders and management on the status of the program. They will monitor program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 18+ years) in successfully delivering complex IT transformation programs, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong program management skills, with a deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in application development programs, including projects based on Agile methodology.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
Industry Knowledge:
  • Experience in any of the following industry domains: Telecom, BFSI, Oil & Gas, Retail.
