Embedded Systems Engineer

At ThreatXIntel, our team specializes in protecting businesses and organizations from cyber threats through cloud security, web and mobile security testing, DevSecOps, and more. We are looking for a skilled engineer to support the design and development of embedded and industrial control systems.

The ideal candidate will work on FPGA-based solutions, optimize real-time embedded systems, and collaborate with partners to transition advanced technologies into deployable prototypes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for embedded and industrial control systems.
  • Use FPGA design tools (Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim) to simulate, test, and optimize real-time embedded systems.
  • Develop and integrate embedded software (C/C++, Python) with microcontrollers, FPGAs, ARM, and/or x86 processors.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, universities, and industry partners on embedded systems research and development.
  • Transition early-stage control and communication systems into working prototypes.
  • Contribute to technical publications, patents, and open-source projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience with a Bachelor's OR 2+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Strong expertise in FPGA design and development using Verilog and/or VHDL.
  • Hands-on experience with Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs and design tools (Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim).
  • Experience with real-time embedded applications on microcontrollers, FPGAs, ARM, or x86.
  • Proficiency in embedded software development (C/C++, Python).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
