Service Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team in the field of engine products. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and executing complex repairs at customer sites, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with customers, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
  • Utilize specialized tools and documented procedures to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on engines and related components according to schedules and standards.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to product specialists or supervisors as needed.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to technicians and apprentices, and review repair plans and parts lists.
  • Complete required documentation such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents accurately.
  • Identify and communicate additional sales and service opportunities with customers.
  • Maintain service vehicles and tools in proper operating condition.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and report any issues or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in field service work, with expertise in engine products.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience.
  • Ability to provide technical advice and coaching to junior technicians, preferably.
