Advanced Engine Product Specialist

Job Summary:
As a seasoned product engineer, you will be responsible for applying and supporting design processes such as Design Review, Virtual Review, DFMEA, DVP&R, DFM, DFA, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
You will conduct cross-functional reviews for component designs independently, while seeking guidance as needed. Your expertise in 3D CAD modeling in Creo for major casting components and engine parts including plumbing and sheet metal brackets will be crucial in this role.
In addition, you will create and check 2D drawings with accurate GD&T, ensuring design for manufacturing, service, and assembly. You will also develop engineering releases aligned with component requirements and design phase milestones.
Furthermore, you will provide BOM support during engine builds; review and verify component lists. You will support part movement and tracking during builds, testing, and validation phases. Lastly, you will manage ETLA (Engine Top Level Assembly) and tailoring of product/system TLA (Top Level Assembly).
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in engine component design
- Proficiency in Creo (Pro/E) and NPD (New Product Development) for casting, sheet metal, and plumbing components
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for assembly/serviceability
- Basic understanding of engine function and its sub-systems
- Experience with MCM (Modular Component Management) is a plus
