An Advanced Technical Support Specialist

About the Role:

This position plays a key part in an engineering team that shapes the future of our products. As an Advanced Technical Support Specialist, you will collaborate closely with engineering leadership to manage data collection and processing, document product specifications and processes, and create technical illustrations. You will help coordinate project planning and scheduling, act as a liaison between engineering groups, and provide data reporting for both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • BUILD WEB SITES
  • Administer a talent management database
  • Focus on training, data collection & analysis
  • Develop a Knowledge Management portal
  • Support common tool initiatives
  • Maintain a SharePoint site
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need some experience in engineering. Key skills include:

  • Flexibility and openness to adapting to changing systems, processes, and projects
  • Business Acumen: knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to the industry
  • Problem Solving: evaluate effective solutions based on root causes; seek diverse opinions; apply six sigma procedures
  • Conflict Management: turn conflicts into opportunities for improvement; strive for win / win resolutions
  • PMP certification is advantageous
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is desirable
