**Job Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a dedicated Facility Manager, responsible for the smooth operation of our facilities.

  • Support the Asst Manager Engg/Engg Manager in managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations and civil maintenance within the facility.
  • Responsible for preparing critical spares lists for all installations as per manufacturers' recommendations and planning inventory management with in-house teams.
  • Implement and oversee pre-emptive maintenance programs to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment.
  • Assist the Chief Engineer in reviewing maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Maintain logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all M&E installations.
  • Manage downtime/breakdowns.
  • Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set-ups as per client requirements from time to time.
  • Ensure contractors follow house rules at all times and projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the client.
  • Assume AFM responsibilities if needed.
  • Responsible for handling shifts independently on all engineering-related matters.
  • Daily walk-around of the facility.
  • Operational risk management.
  • Update and implement emergency response plans; drills as required.
  • Operational audits and compliance.
  • Escalation of incidents/problems.

**Performance Objectives**

  • Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts.
  • Establishment and adherence to policies and procedures, compliance deadlines for each task as advised by the Operation Manager.
  • Effective management of the team.

**Reporting**

  • Responsible for daily reporting on M&E to the Asst Engg Manager/Engg Manager.
  • Generate service maintenance reports on office equipment.
  • Generate inventory and purchasing of spares and consumables.
  • Generate downtime and breakdown incident reports.
  • An eye for detail to manage day-to-day operations.
  • Well-groomed and presentable at all times.
  • Good communication skills.
