Job Description

This role is responsible for driving IT audit strategy across various entities, ensuring alignment with organizational risks and regulatory expectations.

The position plays a critical part in strengthening internal controls, enhancing IT governance, and providing independent assurance through proactive risk identification and audit oversight in a dynamic tech-driven environment.

  • Develop and implement annual IT audit plans responsive to the organization's risk profile.
  • Lead evaluations of IT infrastructure, establish controls, and audit procedures to identify areas of risk or non-compliance.
  • Ensure proper resourcing for implementation and adjust the plan as needed in response to changes in business risks, operations, programs, systems, and controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update audit tools considering IIA guidelines and audit manual.
  • Inform senior management of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and governance.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on IT and data risks, improving operational efficiencies and processes where appropriate.
  • Maintain good relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Oversee Internal Audit's participation in critical business and technology initiatives and projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Timely delivery of high-quality audit reports.
  • Effective implementation of audit findings and recommendations.
  • Strengthening internal controls and enhancing IT governance.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, PPM, PMP, DISA, or equivalent IT audits-related qualifications.
  • Experience: 7+ years in IT audits, with at least 2-3 years in a team management role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security and infrastructure.
  • Experience working/aggregating in agile product management environments.
  • Optional: 3-5 years of Fintech/NBFC industry experience with expertise in RBI/IRDAI guidelines on IT frameworks and sensitive data protection.
