Tax Compliance Manager - Overview
The role of Tax Compliance Manager is to oversee the global tax compliance function, ensuring accurate reporting for partnerships and corporate tax entities connected to investment funds and employee vehicles. The Tax Compliance team is responsible for managing both domestic and international filings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle US tax compliance for assigned funds and legal entities.
- Review federal and state tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-F, 1042/8804), investor reporting (Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3), and tax provisions for blocker corporations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5–8 years of tax compliance experience within multinational financial services, asset management, or Big 4 advisory.
- Strong knowledge of US partnership and corporate tax compliance, including Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3, withholding, and corporate provisions (Forms 1120, 1120-F).
