Strategic Growth Associate

Garena is looking for a talented Strategic Growth Associate to join its team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for developing skill sets and assisting business growth in different scopes, depending on business needs. This includes product management, user research, marketing, live operations, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy consulting or a related field, with a proven ability to approach both quantitative and qualitative challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop skill sets and assist business growth in different scopes, depending on business needs
- Find ways to create impact at a product level through in-depth understanding of our existing and target users
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations for our stakeholders
- Conduct competitor study and provide strategic inputs for senior leaders
- Analyze industry trends, identify expansion opportunities, and competitive threats in the market
Requirements:
- Outstanding graduates from top universities, MBA qualification is mandatory
- At least 2 years of experience in strategic planning or equivalent roles, ideally with a background in strategy consulting or a related field
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to approach both quantitative and qualitative challenges effectively
- Possess a passion for games, preferably with some knowledge of the gaming industry in India
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and another local language, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
