Job Title: Virtual Desktop Engineer

Job Description:

As a seasoned IT professional, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. Your expertise in migrating virtual desktops from on-premises to cloud infrastructure is highly sought after.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement AVD host pools, images, and scaling solutions
  • Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for Azure WVD production configuration
  • Migrate virtual desktops between tenants and manage user profiles using FSlogix technologies
  • Implement Azure site recovery for workload replication and business continuity
  • Develop and maintain documentation of AVD environments and configurations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with AVD, Azure Migrate, and relevant migration tools
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory and its role in AVD environments
  • Familiarity with Windows and Azure automation tools
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering, development, and product teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with IP Networking, VNet peering, and Azure Firewall
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and monitoring tools
