Desktop Virtualization Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve complex incidents in desktop virtualization environments.
  • Implement permanent fixes to infrastructure issues.
  • Document Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) of major incidents to enhance process improvements.
  • Develop and implement Plans of Action (POA) for major changes in infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve escalated incidents and provide permanent solutions.
  • Create Logical Unit Numbers (LUN), shared storage, and map to Hypervisor for optimal performance.
  • Work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in Citrix Desktop Virtualization.
  • Proficiency in Citrix XenApp & Xendesktop, XenServer / ESXi / HyperV / Nutanix.
  • Familiarity with Provisioning Services (PVS)/Machine Creation Services (MCS)/Smart Scale (SF).
  • Understanding of storage and connectivity fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, User Management.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure with desktop virtualization.

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Report Writing and Presentation Skills.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
