About the Role

As a seasoned professional in virtual desktop infrastructure, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing Azure Virtual Desktop solutions. This includes installing and configuring AVD technologies such as host pools, AVD images and scaling.

You will analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for Azure WVD based production configuration. Additionally, you will have experience migrating virtual desktops from on-prem to cloud, Tenant to Tenant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure AVD technologies including host pools, AVD images and scaling.
  • Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for Azure WVD based production configuration.
  • Migrate virtual desktops from on-prem to cloud, Tenant to Tenant.
  • Implement Azure site recovery for workload replication for BCDR requirements.
  • Take accountability for applying implementing maintaining and examining the documentation of the AVD.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure Virtual Desktop related systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will require strong knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop Solution, with experience using FSlogix technologies for user and office 365 profiling requirement. Familiarity with Windows and Azure automation tools is also essential.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop Solution.

  • Shown experience within the implementation, management, and support of Virtual Desktop environments.
  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and concepts supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS including networking, compute, storage, subscriptions, and security.
