Your Role:

In this role, you will support regional/global sourcing initiatives under the leadership of a regional/global category manager or independently if under a defined threshold. You will purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global category leader.
  • Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew price lists and terms and conditions.
  • Run benchmark studies for the Category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.
  • Create local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and update/maintain frame contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Full-time bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Requires 8 to 15 years of experience in process improvement, specializing across functional areas.
  • Should have exposure to at least one of the following products: LV switchgear & power distribution, cables & cable installation, E-Houses, IT & networking products, site contracts, motors and drives, automation, or instrumentation.
  • Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
